Gefühlt gibt es in jeder großen und in jeder Querstrasse ein Yoga Studio, wenn nicht zwei. Gefühlt hat auch jeder Zweite eine Yogamatte oder ein Surfbrett dabei. Obwohl ich viel Zeit in Los Angeles verbracht habe und fast täglich Yoga gemacht habe, war es mir unmöglich selbst die nur die großen Studios abzudecken.

Daher optimal damit zu starten und keine große Entdeckung von meiner Seite. Auf mich macht es ein wenig den Eindruck als Dreh- und Angelpunkt von Ernährungs- Affinen, Figurbewussten, Hippstern und einfach gemischt entspannten Leuten. Stars sind angeblich auch inklusive. Leider tue ich mich schwer sie zu erkennen. Gefühlt ist dort jeder ein Star. Es herrscht eine warme und super freundliche Atmosphäre, keinerlei Eiswind oder Starallüren.

To me, it seems a little bit like a hub of the dietary conscious, the figure conscious and the hipsters, mingling with people who are simply relaxed. Allegedly, even the stars come here. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time recognising them. It feels like everyone there is a star. The atmosphere is warm and super friendly, no aloofness or air and graces.*

Mehr noch als in New York steht hier Ernährung, Yoga, Fitness- ein holistischer Lebensstil im Vordergrund. Hier entstehen Trends, die oftmals zeitverzögert nach Europa "rübermachen".

Even more so than in New York, the focus there is on food, Yoga, fitness and a holistic way of life. This is where the trends originate which sometimes - quite belatedly - find their way to Europe.*
