Mareille interessierte sich schon immer für Bewegung und Sport. Im Jahr 2002 besuchte sie ihre erste Yoga-Klasse. Es war keine Liebe auf den ersten Blick; sie fanden, dass Yoga sehr herausfordernd und konfrontativ war. Trotzdem wurde in diesem Augenblick ein Samenkorn gepflanzt Yoga war seitdem Teil ihres Lebens.
