Mein letzter Besuch in Hamburg ist lange her, doch jetzt habe ich es endlich mal wieder ein paar Tage geschafft. Hauptsächlich habe ich mich so sehr gefreut meine Lieben aus meiner Hamburger Zeit wieder zu sehen und intensiv mit ihnen Zeit zu verbringen. Dabei ist meine eigentlicher Entdeckungswahn für YOGATONIC einwenig ins Hintertreffen geraten. Außerdem habe ich natürlich immer das völlig falsche Gefühl: in Hamburg ist alles wie immer. Und dann ist es auch einfach schön zu den vertrauten Orten zu gehen, wenn man solange nicht da war. Hier ein paar meiner Abstecher ins Café oder zum Mittagessen:

*It's been a while since my last visit in Hamburg but now I managed to come for a few days once again. Mainly, I was just overjoyed to see my dear friends from my time in Hamburg again and spend quality time with them. Due to that fact, I didn't go on a discovering spree as I am wont to do on other occasions and YOGATONIC had to play second fiddle. Furthermore, I always get the same (wrong) sensation as every time I am there - in Hamburg, everything is like it used to be. And isn´t it nice to seek out well known places if you have been out of town for so long? Here a few of my detours to cafés or lunch places:*

Milch Feinkost
Milch Feinkost wurde mir empfohlen. Wenn man einen netten Ausflug an die Elbe und in die Hafencity macht, ist es ideal danach dort einen herrlichen Kuchen zu essen, denn es ist direkt im Portugiesen -Viertel. Ich mag die Fließen und die ganze Aufmachung (großes Außer: das nicht übersehbare Bild an der Wand- wer dort ist, weiß was ich meine. Der Betreiber von Milch Feinkost meinte er will damit provozieren… ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ihm nur das gelingt). Ansonsten ein super netter Ort für Kaffee und Kuchen.

*Milch Feinkost
Milch Feinkost was recommended to me. When you do a trip to the Elbe and the harbour it is just the place have a fantastic cake afterwards for it is in the heart of the Portuguese district. I like the tiles and the whole interior design (with one big caveat - the unmissable picture at the wall - he who visits the place will know what I mean. The proprietor of Milch Feinkost told me he wants to provoke people with it - I am not so sure if that's the only thing he achieves). But aside of that a great place for coffee and cakes.*

Paledo
An diesem kleinen Laden bin ich durch Zufall hungrig vorbeigelaufen und habe mir einen herrlichen Quinoa Salat bestellt. Es gab köstliche Gerichte auf der Karte und tolle Getränke. Alles wirkte sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Also für ein Mittagessen auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

*Paledo
I passed by this small place by chance when I was hungry and ordered a fantastic Quinoa salad. There were delicious meals and great drinks on the menu. Everything looked as if it was prepared most lovingly. Definitely worth a visit for a quick lunch.*

Happen Pappen
Über Happen Pappen habe ich schon vor längerem geschrieben, aber auch dieses mal bin ich nicht daran vorbeigekommen, WEIL ich auf der Suche nach einer veganen Avocado Lemon Tarte war. Happen Pappen konnte mir tatsächlich den Wunsch erfüllen und zum nächsten Tag eine köstliche Avocado Lemon Tarte zaubern. Ich habe es auch auf Facebook blitzen sehen, dass es eine ganz bezaubernde neue Inhaberin gibt, und sich Roman (der Gründer) auf seine tollen Kochkurse konzentriert. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert und wie man sieht auch wunderbar für eine Bestellung.

*Happen Pappen
I have written about Happen Pappen in the past but that doesn't mean I didn't drop by this time as well. This was due to the fact that I was looking for a vegan Avocado Lemon Tart. Happen Pappen was able to oblige and made a delicious Avocado Lemon Tart on the very next day. I have seen on facebook that the place has a charming new proprietor while Roman (the founder) focuses on his great cooking classes. It is always worth a visit and as you can see will even take orders.*

Gracias Madre - Raw Food
Gracias Madre ist neu, ein Raw Food laden in Winterhude. Ich bin leider direkt am Montag- Ruhetag vorbei gekommen und dann habe ich es nicht mehr geschafft. Es scheint mir irgendeine Verbindung mit dem großartigen gleichnamigen Restaurant in Los Angeles zu geben, bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher welche. Sieht auf jeden Fall herrlich aus, wenn ihr es ausprobiert oder kennt, freue ich mich natürlich über Info.

Gracias Madre is new, a Raw Food store in Winterhude. Unfortunately I went there on a Monday - their day off - and so I didn't manage to eat there any more. There seems to be a connection to the great restaurant with the same name in Los Angeles but I am not sure as to its nature. Anyway, the place looks great, so if you know it or have tried it I will be glad for any informations I can get.*
